Creativium debuts at ABPM Conference

creativitumlogo4-01

Creativium is more of a way than a thing. It cannot be mined or manufactured. It is design prowess in its purest form. Whether it is a great piece of inspiration, or a new way of thinking about something, or just a strong cup of coffee, Creativium is the name we have given to the undefinable energy in White Design Studio’s process. Without it, we could not  create our award winning, distinctive, custom design solutions. Executive Briefing Centers demand inspiring, rigorous creative and White Design meets the challenge with its multidisciplined approach. Our passion lies in balancing multi-media, graphic and environmental design into one consistent, seamless, focused solution.

White Design travels to Santa Clara for the 2010 Spring ABPM Conference April 13-15. Peter is taking a prized piece of Creativium to demonstrate what makes White Design different. If you have been lucky enough to get one of the small pieces of Creativium that were given away at the show, be sure to visit this link to learn how to fill it with your own creations.

Peter White Conducts Workshop at the Fall ABPM Conference

manipulate

Peter White, Designer, White Design Studio, Dale Tesmond, The Brand Experience and Matt Heller, Cultural Anthropologist, Aegis Group teamed together to conduct a workshop for the ABPM Fall Conference in Dallas, Texas on October 21st, 2009. The topic was “Manipulation” - in other words, how to best prepare your audience to accept and retain the message you want them to take-away from their visit to your briefing center. Knowing you audience, crafting your message, climbing the emotional tree, the magic of three’s, orchestrating your experience, understanding and using peak end and zero sum principals were all examined as tools for creating a memorable experience. It’s all right here…

We are honored to be a part of this event and look forward to sharing more of our work with, and gaining inspiration from such a rich cross section of artists.

The Spaces Between

We designed an identity that reflects our core values. We see our varied talents as lenses through which we examine a design problem. Our new logo is made up of a series of lenses or apertures. Our value, our personality is defined by the space between. It is not our goal to imbue your equity with our personality, but to design solutions that, through our filter, allow your brand to sing with the clearest possible voice. Below is a photo gallery of how we translated that idea to all of our collateral.

White Design Studio Joins ABPM

abpmlogo2We’ve joined another association - the ABPM or Association of Briefing Program Managers. This group is composed of managers, designers and fabricators of EBC’s - Executive Briefing Centers. An EBC is normally an off-site facility that companies use to educate “C-level” executives about a host of topics in a condensed time frame. They can be simple conference centers or a state-of-the-art multimedia experiences. We see these centers as an opportunity to use all our design skills. Branding is paramount, and we are experts at  translating and expanding a company’s brand - but EBC’s draw on equal parts architecture, interiors, exhibit design, and storytelling. Our diverse backgrounds in museum, retail, corporate interiors and trade show exhibits allow us to use ALL of our skills to create custom tailored experiences. Graphic and interactive design, video, motion graphics and lighting design all combine to form the solution. Stay tuned for some portfolio pieces to show you just what we mean.
