As JP Flooring has grown, the brand has become synonomous with quality and value. The dedicated and knowledgable staff, combined with a superior selection is what makes JP stand out from it’s competitors. Service + Selection = Value.
We wanted the new showroom to embody this message. To do so, we toned down the colors in the showroom, using the JP red sparingly. By using mostly neutrals in the space, we were able to call more attention to the rich materials that makes up JP’s vast flooring selection.
One of our challenges in this showroom was how to deliver impactful messages without taking up important floor space. The solution was to create large islands that help break up the space and organize it based on material. Lit pillow graphic endcaps create important focal points that deliver key messages to the consumer.
A large, educational graphic guides unaccompanied customers through the hardwood selection process, allowing them to make more informed decisions. It doubles as a guide for the sales team, making their sales procedure more streamlined and efficient.
Selection suites throughout the showroom allow for the sales team to have one-on-one meetings with customers to discuss their needs. These suites also double as a way to advertise specific brands, designs, and key messages through a mix of real materials and a digital experience.
An elevated, lit pillow graphic calls attention to the Commercial Library in the back of the showroom without taking up any floor space.
At JP Flooring, the employees are close and have a lot of fun. We wanted to embody this and create something special just for them. To accomplish this, we expanded the original color palette for use exclusively in employee-facing areas. Bright colors and bold graphics mix to inspire employees and add a little extra fun.
In the cafeteria, a bright sculpture calls attention to the kitchen where a chef makes a special menu once a week. Next to the sculpture, JP TV uses quirky animations tp deliver inspirational messages and reminders to employees. A larger-than-life message is applied to the curved cafeteria wall reminding employees to have fun and be awesome.
Dimensional, tone-on-tone pieces of the logo can be found throughout the office space. Bright, graphics with simple messages to inspire employees to greatness – each stamped with a reminder to Be Awesome.
