Welcome to our White Space. We are a multidisciplinary design firm located in Cincinnati, Ohio. We have experience in environmental branding, retail design, architecture, motion graphics, web design, print, lighting design, interior design, installation art, scrabble, interactive video installations, drywall, boat building, golf, small engine repair, banjo, photography, and Japanese floral arranging. 

The two things we love most, are asking “How,”and applying our talents to your brand.

We are more than a collection of artists and designers. We are a symbol. We are a great big W. We are a filter; an aperture. Each of our varied talents is a lens trough which we examine a design problem. We are White Design Studio. It is not our goal to imbue your equity with our personality, but to design solutions that, through our filter, allow your brand to sing with the clearest possible voice.

The White Way

We use the following steps to begin dissecting design problems

Observe - We start by watching and listening. It is important to hear how you articulate your brand vision, and the collective vision of the project team.
Collect - We want to show you how we’re thinking. Pictures of existing projects, park benches, dogs, sketches, neon, accordions, whatever it takes to get an idea across quickly. We collect your assets and your reactions.
Define - Next we make a series of statements. Verbal statements, design statements, fashion statements… We design a range of solutions from our new pool of constraints.
Distill - We then weed out and add suggested direction to the mix. Then we shake well and pour.
Repete - We take it to Pete, and when he’s happy, we show it to you. Then we do it all over again.
